Frequently asked questions.

1. What is BounceAutomationTool?

BounceAutomationTool is a macOS app that automates the process of bouncing multiple Logic Pro sessions. Instead of opening each session and waiting for it to bounce, you can drag in all your .logicx files and let the app cycle through each one — opening it, clicking Bounce, closing it, and repeating — all hands free.

2. What versions of macOS are supported?

The app is optimized for macOS Sequoia, Ventura, and Sonoma. You’ll need Logic Pro X version 10.7.9 or later.

3. Can I select bounce formats like WAV, MP3, or AIFF?

Automating this in code is a pain in the ass on Sequoia, so the app uses your last used Logic Pro bounce setting for ease. Instructions are provided in the app on how to change your bounce formats before running the tool.

4. Will this overwrite my existing bounces?

If a bounced file already exists, the app will detect the “Replace file?” dialog and automatically confirm the replacement. It also clicks “Don’t Save” when asked after closing the project.

5. How do I start a bounce batch?

Just launch the app, drag in the Logic projects you want to bounce, and click Let’s Bounce. The app takes care of opening each session, confirming dialogs, and closing the file. Ideally, make sure your sessions open error-free — just in case!

6. Can I use the computer while it’s bouncing sessions?

Nope — use this time more productively. Make dinner, tidy the studio, grab a coffee, get ready to go out. Your bounces will be waiting for you when you return.

7. How much does it cost?

You can start with a free 7-day trial. After that, you’ll need to unlock the app with a one-time early access license purchase. Pricing and activation are handled securely through our partner Paddle.

8. What happens when my trial ends?

Once your 7-day trial ends, the main functionality will lock until you activate your license. You’ll still be able to open the app, but bouncing will be disabled.
